There are many sources of water damage in a home and three categories of damage. While water damage cleanup must happen as soon as possible regardless of the source, some types of damage are more serious and pose a higher health risk. We offer emergency water removal and water damage restoration for all three categories of damage:
- Category 1/Clean: This involves water from a sanitary, clean source like a faucet or toilet tank. If not addressed quickly, it will degrade to category 2.
- Category 2/Grey: This is water that comes from a somewhat contaminated source such as a dishwasher, washing machine, sink drain, or toilet overflow with urine. Grey water may have contaminants that can cause health issues.
- Category 3/Black: This is the most dangerous type of water damage and it may be caused by a sewer backup, stream or river flooding, toilet overflow with feces, or stagnant water that supports bacterial and viral growth.
Our water damage restoration services begin with fast response to assess the problem. All water will be removed from the area before it’s dehumidified to remove moisture and eliminate the possibility of mold and bacterial growth. Next, your home will be cleaned, sanitized, and treated with antifungal and antimicrobial products.
If you have suffered a flood or some type of water damage, fast water mitigation is essential. Contact us today for emergency water damage response to restore your home and help you move on.
Spring is on its way, and for many homeowners, the end of winter often brings flooded basements in addition to flowers and longer days. When the overnight temperatures begin warming up, frozen ground begins thawing and water makes its way to the lowest point possible. This results in wet basements and hours spent dealing with basement flood cleanup instead of baseball, gardening, or anything else you’d rather be doing.
All too often, homeowners have walked down the steps to their basement only to discover a murky pool of water and basement water damage. Following the path of least resistance, water has a knack for finding holes and cracks in basement walls, leaving pools of water in basement and often the need for professional repairs. Beyond the cracks and holes, which can be found in most basements across the country, basement flooding can typically be attributed to heavy rains, poor drainage around basement walls, or sump pump problems. Sometimes, an unfortunate combination of all of these factors is to blame.
According to Flood Smart, a small 1,000-square foot home with only an inch of water in the basement can result in $10,000 or more in basement flooding repair and restoration costs. Due to the scope of the basement water removal, flood damage cleanup, and possible repairs, you should immediately contact a water or basement restoration specialist if you ever awake one day to find a dirty swimming hole in the basement of your home. With potential causes ranging from faulty plumbing to an improperly sloped foundation, a flooded basement restoration professional will identify and correctly solve the problem in no time at all.
Mold Removal and Remediation
Mold can quickly spread throughout any home in as little as 48 hours whenever a water source, such as a plumbing or roof leak, is introduced. Mold is a serious issue and can damage your health. Unfortunately, microscopic mold spores are just about everywhere, making it next to impossible to remove every single spore from your home. However, when properly treated by a professional mold removal and remediation company, you can once again begin enjoying the air quality you deserve.
Mold remediation involves identifying and addressing mold problems in a home, business, or any other structure. Almost always performed by a professional mold restoration company like us, specializing in the potentially harmful job of mold cleanup and removal, mold remediation involves a number of essential steps.
A licensed contractor will first identify the source of the problem and all moldy areas. Then, a remediation plan will be developed, with containment of the infected area being a top priority. HEPA filters are used to remove harmful mold spores from the air and any porous materials like damaged sheetrock are removed. The rest of the area is thoroughly dried before the reconstruction process can begin. Exposure to mold can cause serious health issues. Whether you have mold in basement from a flood, mold in the attic from a leaky roof, or anywhere else in your home, protect your health and call a mold removal specialist today.
There’s nothing more traumatizing than experiencing a fire in your home. Unfortunately, according to data from the National Fire Protection Agency, a fire is reported every minute. When the flames appear, the first priority is the safety of you and your loved ones. As soon as the flames clear, however, is when the fire damage restoration begins.
The first 48 hours after a fire are often called the golden hours of fire damage recovery. A quick response to the scene is needed to stabilize the structure. Smoke damage and acidic soot caused when a fire is extinguished enhances the corrosion and deterioration of structures and property. Aside from mitigating damage, the fire restoration process involves water damage restoration, smoke damage cleanup, thermal deodorization, and complete reconstruction.
Heavy rain and partially blocked sewers can cause sewage backups and a real mess. If sewage water inside your home isn’t taken care of immediately, your flooring, walls, and personal property can become badly damaged. Your home can also become the perfect environment for the growth of bacteria and mold.
Sewer backups and cleanups should be considered a serious problem deserving of emergency treatment. With the possibility of contamination from bacteria, viruses, other harmful microbes capable of causing serious illness, professional sewage cleanup is always a must. Regardless of whether you have a “clean water” problem caused from a broken faucet or supply line or standing “black water” full of dangerous microbes, a sewage cleanup professional like us will develop the appropriate plan of action for your home.

Reviews From Restoration Customers
Adwin A: A piped burst at my mother’s house and when the fire trucks got there her house had plenty of water that had soaked her carpets and ran down through the ceiling to the basement. Her home was a wreck. I called and without 2 hours they were on the scene. They assessed the situation and began soaking up the water. They brought in fans, heaters, and everything to dry up the carpet, ceiling and floors. They left equipment to complete the drying process so there would not be any mold. They did an awesome job and I hope I never need them again, but for sure they are the ones I would call. Will recommend to all my family and friends.
Joanne D: Our house got flooded and as soon as my husband gave them a call, they were quick to have people over and start drying up our house before we got any damages. Their employees had great people skills and ensured us everything will be taken care of and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The guy that installed our ceramic floors after they did a great job drying up our house and cleaning everything up, did a fantastic job and our floors are gorgeous! I loved the fantastic customer service they have provided from the beginning to the end, and then some! we are definitely going to grow through them again with anything we need done with our house.
Luisa D: Fantastic experience… I was having sinus headaches and infections for the longest time. I was also starting to get vertigo and was convinced that it had to be related to maybe presence of mold in my house, maybe in the attic or the basement. The technician checked the entire house and told me there was no mold but (60percent) very high humidity levels . He installed an industrial size dehumidifier for 3 days and explained that it is essential to keep temperatures low during the summer in order to avoid the high humidity and eventual formation of mold. I then looked on the internet and found resent research linking high home humidity to respiratory illnesses such as sinus infections and vertigo.
Jessica S: I had a water loss to my home back in October 2015. My Master bathroom, master bedroom, and walk-in closet were affected. It was a total disaster! I was so worried about which company to go with to help get my house and family back to normal! This was our first experience with any type of significant damage to our home. I could not believe how quick, they all were to respond to our families misfortune. They graciously worked around our busy schedule, and were very knowledgeable of the work they performed. I have never been so satisfied with a business!!! They did a FANTASTIC JOB restoring my house back to normal! It is better now than it was before the water loss. I LOVE MY NEW FLOORS!!!!!!! Truly God Sent!!!
Anna J: Fast, reliable, friendly, and hardworking! The flooding started at 7pm on a Saturday and they were there within the hour. On top of all the fans and dehumidifiers they brought a back up sump pump to help keep our floors dry. They checked in daily and rolled out the “”paper”” carpet when they were working on the floors to keep things clean. I have a child and dog and they were extremely careful with their restoration process (ex. blocking off the area with plastic walls). They took charge in dealing with the insurance company via phone and in person when they came to estimate the damage. They also called and prepped the flooring company before we arrived to shop. Overall a great experience that I hope we don’t have to deal with again 😉
Eddie T: In April 2015 we had a leak in a bulkhead from the roof into our 16th floor condominium unit. The roof was not maintained properly and deteriorated to the point where the upper membrane cracked leaving massive areas of the insulation soaked with water. Despite it being their responsibility, the condominium association refused to act quickly to repair and stop the water leaks. From April through August the water dripped. On several occasions, the association tried to open the bulkhead without taking proper steps to provide for mold controls and containment . We called this technician who immediately stepped in, notified the association if proper procedures of the requirements for mold containment protocol, and despite the association refusing to pay, he both saved us from having our entire home contaminated and did an excellent job of containing, removing and treating the mold. I highly recommend him
